It’s Thursday! What about a little stop/rewind?
Do you know what are Feel Good Books?
To me, ‘Feel Good Books‘ are the books that maybe not will rock my literary world, they maybe won’t get a 5 stars rating but they will make me feel GOOD.
Simple as that. Those are the books that make you smile, make you sigh a contentment smile at the end, that get you out of that redoubtable ‘book-slump‘. They can even push you into the much feared book-hangover.
Last year I picked this Tessa Teevan‘s book without too much thought. I saw a friend was reading it and just went for it. And I’m so glad I did! Combust truly fell in that category of books that makes your day a little bit better, and I think it’s maybe the most important thing of all.

Tessa Teevan has a writing I’d like to define as easy and her books usually have this “feel good” vibe going on. Combust literally got me out of my book slump and I enjoyed the love story and second chance at love between Andi and Cohen. The chemistry between the characters, the humorous and sexy scenes truly won me over and made me grin and smile all throughout the book.
