BOOK REVIEW⎜Easy By Tammara Webber

MY RATING

I loved this one, I just couldn’t put it down once I started and although it took me 4 years to finally start it, I think my eagerness to read it made it up for the time wasted!
I could write a long drawn review about how much I loved it but with over 288.000 reviews on Goodreads I think it’s safe to assume you’ll find one that makes you want to crack this one open pronto! Don’t be like me, don’t wait 4 years!

Book Infos

When Jacqueline follows her longtime boyfriend to the college of his choice, the last thing she expects is a breakup two months into sophomore year. After two weeks in shock, she wakes up to her new reality: she’s single, attending a state university instead of a music conservatory, ignored by her former circle of friends, and failing a class for the first time in her life.

Leaving a party alone, Jacqueline is assaulted by her ex’s frat brother. Rescued by a stranger who seems to be in the right place at the right time, she wants nothing more than to forget the attack and that night – but her savior, Lucas, sits on the back row of her econ class, sketching in a notebook and staring at her. Her friends nominate him to be the perfect rebound.

When her attacker turns stalker, Jacqueline has a choice: crumple in defeat or learn to fight back. Lucas remains protective, but he’s hiding secrets of his own. Suddenly appearances are everything, and knowing who to trust is anything but easy.

My Review

Over 288.000 reviews on Goodreads, average rating 4.11, all my friends read the book.
I get it “Easy” by Tammara Webber is a must read.
And yet here I am, July 4th 2017, probably the last reader in Romancelandia who still haven’t read it.

The serious (furious) side-eye looks my friends Eliza and Rachel gave me yesterday when this book came up over a conversation were enough to make me feel guilty and squirm in my seat.

I felt the burn of their judging stare through my computer screen.
I made the mistake of admitting what I now know is considered a sin, an affront, a romance reader faux-pas! The unmentionable!

I, Alleskelle, self declared addict romance reader, have not read Tammara Webber’s ‘Easy’.

Not 5 minutes after getting judgey looks from all sides by admitting what seems to be a sin from a romance reader (I repent, I repent!), I checked my kindle and low and behold the book has been sitting there ever since 2013.
It was even on my “ very very next ” Goodreads shelf. But come on, other books happened! Surely as romance book addicts you can try and find it in you to commiserate over a poor distracted soul like me… Right?
I obviously had meant to read it… 4 years ago. That should count for something, right?

Anyway, not wanting to feel like such an outcast in my beloved romance book community anymore, (thanks, Eliza) and feeling like the worst romance reader ever ( Eliza’s doing again ) I dutifully fervently opened it on the first page last night and started reading.

And you know what?
I FUCKING LOVED IT.

Author Bio & Links

I’m a New York Times and international bestselling author of contemporary, romantic, coming-of-age fiction (Young Adult and New Adult), represented by Jane Dystel of Dystel, Goderich & Bourret; please contact her regarding any rights requests.

I’m a hopeful romantic who adores novels with happy endings, because there are enough sad endings in real life. Before writing full time, I was an undergraduate academic advisor, economics tutor, planetarium office manager, radiology call center rep, and the palest person to ever work at a tanning salon. I married my high school sweetheart, and I’m Mom to three adult kids and four very immature cats.
